1. Describe, in your own words, what maintenance actions must be


satisfied in order that the validity of a Certificate of Airworthiness (C
of A) is maintained.
a). C of A is a legal document granted by the airworthiness authority
on the basis that the specified aircraft conform to the
requirement of the authority. It is maintained and operated in
approved manner as laid down by MCAR reg 27. Flight manual
is part of the C of A.
b). It validity is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that:
i. the aircraft is maintained as per approved maintenance
schedule.
ii. all mandatory modification and inspection have been carried
out.
iii. the aircraft equipment must be maintained in a manner with
part approved by the DCA.
iv. all CRS-SMI and CMR must be in force and valid.
v. aircraft operate within limitation laid down in the Flight
manual.
vi. aircraft does no fly other than the intended purpose.
vii. all necessary document carried on board 9Ref MCAR 82)
viii. tech log defects are rectified or deferred as per procedures

5. Describe ‘A’ Condition. What is Certificate of Fitness for Flight and

Applicable to the aircraft, which C of A has ceased to be in
force by virtue of any of the matter specified in the MCAR, for

i. proceed to place at which any inspection.
ii. Maintenance required for its continuing airworthiness

modification.
