Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

If I could start my career again, I would focus more on being a risky


journalist, too, I would focus more on the radio than the written press.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

The criticism I hear the most is "think as a professional, not as a student"

3. Tell me about your last position?

In my last position I was editor in chief of the "onda de ibague" station. It


was a wonderful experience

4. What is your work philosophy?

My work philosophy is always to serve others and look for a common good

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

For the past two years I have been a more committed and happy
professional.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

The best manager I have had is Carlos Pardo from the Machín Estereo radio
station, a good, kind and respectful person.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

The most important achievements were promoting in my work and making


good colleagues

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

I want to quit my current job because it is a boring job, it is also a temporary


job and the pay is hourly

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?

In my previous position, I spent a year learning how to do things better

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

I want to leave my current job because I need to change my environment and


grow up as an employee in another company
