OBJECTIVE My objective is to become a maintenance engineering manager


who leads teams to become high performance teams delivering
true and sustainable value to the company in a manner that is

WORK Engineering Superintendent, Letseng Diamond Mine,

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, I am in charge of the


mine general maintenance and light motor vehicle fleet. I have
championed, led teams to design, develop and implement
among others the following:

• Physical asset management strategy

• Water safety plan for a national water and sewerage


company

• Cost saving and continuous improvement initiatives (I


am currently leading $360 000/year cost saving
initiatives)

• Emergency preparedness plans

• Maintenance plans including computerized maintenance


management systems (CMMS)

• Various potable and sewerage pumping stations


(including pump selections)

• Draw up HSE programs, including but not limited to


Baseline risk assessments BLRA’s, BOWTIE’s, SOP’s,
JSA, HIRA, Audits, Investigations (5 why and R-CAT),
Emergency Drills, Inspections, Legal Compliance, HSE
turn around strategies to reduce LTI’s, ISO 45001
certification process.

• Initiation of management of change procedures in my


section (MOC’s)

• Currently I am leading my teams on COVID 19


compliance and projects (my section is currently
manufacturing 1000 foot operated sanitizer dispenser
stands to donate to the villages around the mine)

Maintenance and Production Manager, Water and


Sewerage Company, Maseru Lesotho

February 2010 – November 2015

Reporting to the director operations, my direct reports were


the maintenance engineer in charge of electro-mechanical
workshop country wide, planner and water safety officer in
charge of production in a combined 75ML per day water
treatment plants in Maseru.

Responsibilities:
• Production in the 75 ML/day water treatment plants in
the capital city Maseru
• Electro-Mechanical Workshop responsible for repairs in
sewer and water treatment plants throughout the
country
• Development and implementation of the company’s
physical asset management strategy
• Development and implementation of the company’s
water safety plan.
• Updating of the drought water emergency plans
• Review and participation in construction of pump
stations, reservoirs and dams
• Part of the team that oversaw the construction of
Metolong dam construction (63 million cubic meters
capacity at 83 m height and 270 m width). The project
included water treatment works and downstream
conveyence system.

My Responsibilities were generally to assist the Engineering


Manager.

DMS, slimes and sometimes in the sort house recovery
section)
