5. If cooler is used to supply water, is the lid sealed with tape and the date of filled
written on the container?
6. Are snacks/fruit available for employees (employees) during the workday to ensure
they maintain a nutrient and caloric intake needed for working in the heat?

7. Are there posters reminding employees (employees) of the signs and


symptoms of heat injuries and illnesses?

8. Are first aiders available on site?

9. Are contact phone numbers available for medical emergencies?
