FUTURE LEADERS FOR BETTER INDONESIA

Allow Me to introduce Myself, I am (Your Name) from (Your School).

With all due respect to the Honorable Judges representing, to all of the Audiences, and My
beloved friends, Good morning everyone.

            Let we say thank to Allah SWT because of  his grace, we all can gather here on this
event. Shalawat and prayer unforget we say to our greatest prophet Muhammad SAW, his
family, his friends, and all of his followers, Amin. And also to committee who helped
implementation of this event.

Ladies and gentlemen,

            In this chance I would like to tell you my speech about ”Future Leaders For Better
Indonesia”

Talking  about a good Leader, of course not be separated from the attitude and behavior of
the person. With it we can judge someone who has leadership or not. A good Leader, of
course visible from the attitudes and actions toward others. A leader must have a sense of
responsibility and firmness against what he took.

Ladies and gentlemen,

            Indonesia's future leaders for the better, of course must have good characteristics so
that the future can be better Indonesia. Basically everyone has leadership, but not everyone
can and dare to lead. Indonesia in my opinion, not only requires leaders who are smart,
assertive, responsible and ethical good, but should also have a charismatic in order to
influence others to be able to work together with the leadership they lead because of
government can work very well if each part in the government it can cooperate well with
each other. Then the leader must wholeheartedly serve the homeland and the nation. Not
only that, he had to have faith, moral, intelligent decision making, and according to the
principles of democratic life of the nation adopted and to shape Indonesia to make it better
also to prepare Indonesia in MEA (The society economic ASEAN) later.

Ladies and gentlemen,

            In spite of all, a lot of things that must be addressed Indonesia to achieve it all. I ever
seen in television, a lot of corruption is in Indonesia undertaken by the government . Though
the money that would other wise be used to improve infrastructure for Indonesia's progress
instead misused for personal gain. For example, many students drop out of school, do not
have a uniform, and swim to go to school because of the broken bridge , it is an irony in the
midst of our state assets, because they are the future generation who led Indonesia later.
This of course is a problem that must be addressed for the future leaders of the nation. A
good leader for the nation's progress in the future should carry out his duties and must also
give what he can give to the nation's progress with as well.

 Ladies and gentlemen,

            Some time ago we together has been commemorating the heroes day. therefore,
in the spirit of the heroes, let a younger generation that will lead this nation in the future with
the spirit of our youth , we togethers to build this nation for the better. Lead ourselves first in
order to lead the nation in the future for progress our nation this, Indonesia.

 Ladies and gentlemen,

            Maybe it's just that I can say, I ask apologizing if I has a wrong in what I say and
to God I ask apologizing, thank you for your attention.

Young age is commonly known as the age of finding the true identity in someone’s life.
therefore, no wonder if there are lots of confusion on what they are going to be in the future.
Youths are thirsty on learning new knowledge and experiences. There are many speeches
from powerful person who believe in youths potential. For instance, one of the first
Indonesian president most famous quote. “Give me 1000 old man, I will undoubtedly rip
Semeru from its root, give 10 youths, I will undoubtedly shake the world”. this speech has
been motivated many people in Indonesia. Soekarno himself seems to believe that youth
are the agent of change of a nation.
 HOW IMPORTANT CULTURE AWARENESS FOR YOUNG GENERATION

Firstly, all praises be to Allah, the God who create human being and teaches them
knowledge and languages. May peace be always on our prophet Muhammad SAW, who
has brought us from darkness to the modern life.

Before I deliver my speech, first  I will introduce myself. Hello I’m ………… from ………….

Ladies and Gentleman,

We all know that Indonesia is a beautiful country, it has so many natural and cultural
wealth. Culture itself is the customs, arts, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or
other social group. Actually, there are more than 100 cultures in Indonesia. Like traditional
dance, traditional songs, Batak Ethnic, Wayang, Batik etc. But unfortunately, young
generation nowadays is living in a globalization era. They don’t have any interest with their
own culture. They believe that this world is border-less and we can access any information,
talk with anybody without a limitation. And because of this globalization era too, the young
generation nowadays is having a mind set about “International Scale” anything they do is all
about western thing. They behave like a western style, they like break dance, R&B, hip hop
song more than their own songs.

And young generation nowadays tend to use English or Korean and other language
more in social media because they think that Indonesia language is old-fashioned. And also,
teenager nowadays is using internet and social media such as YouTube, Twitter or
Instagram to see about the western or other foreign culture like break dance, street dance
and etc. They don’t want to learn or sing traditional dance because they think those are not
trendy, right?

So, ladies and gentlemen I’m standing here to tell you all, how important culture
awareness is. Why do I say like that? Because if not us, the teenagers, the young
generation that take care our culture, then who else will do it? Do we going to let our culture
extinct? Of course, no. We don’t want to let that thing happen, right?

Brother and sister.

First culture awareness is important for us because our culture shows about
characteristic of our country. For example, that people see about Reog Ponorogo dance and
Batik, they will recognize our country.

Culture awareness is important for business thing, right? International businesses

should always handle overseas dealings with cultural sensitivity to avoid offence to foreign
business colleagues, clients or suppliers. Being culturally aware will also avoid the expense
of miscommunications and will allow your business to handle international relations with
respect and understanding, resulting in effective cross-cultural management and successful
business dealings.

So, Dear happy audience because of that important we have to save our culture. Here
I want to tell you all the way we can improve the culture awareness for young generation.

First is proud to be Indonesian. We don’t have to be ashamed to be a part of

Indonesian. Instead of just learn about foreign skill we can to increase our Indonesian
language more and trend it.

Second is to make the teenager nowadays love our dance and music. We have to
make them realize that our music and dance is also great and not old-fashioned.

The last and the most important thing we have to educate and inform them about
Indonesian culture. Because their careless is due to the fact that nobody inform them about
our culture.

So, ladies and gentlemen don’t be the generation that will destroy our culture. But let’s
be the generation that saves our culture. Because if not us, the young generation, who do it,
then who else?

As we are still young, use our time as well as possible. Never put of what you can do
today until tomorrow. The wise man said “TIME IS SWORD”. It means that if we use the time
well, we will feel happy and peace.

Speech Contest: The Role of Youth/Young Generation

The honorable judges,
Dear my beloved friends,
And ladies also gentlemen,
Asslamu’alaikum wr. Wb.
Firstly, all praises be to Allah, the God who create human being and teaches them
knowledge and languages. May peace be always on our prophet Muhammad SAW, who
has brought us from darkness to the modern life.
Ladies and gentlemen …..
It is a great pleasure for me to have the opportunity to deliver a speech on the subject of the
role of Youths (student) in the era of National development.
Let me star by informing you that we are facing the modern era that full of challenges. We,
as youth generation, have no choice except to be brave in facing the challenges.
Concerning the fact, let us improve our knowledge, let us study hard. We know that
education should be the first priority. It is the base need, so that it can not be bargained.
With a good and serious education, we will be a good, ethos, reliable and professional
generation.
Ladies and gentlemen …..
Nowadays, societies do need the help (service) of educated and generous people, who are
able to speak up and make innovation. Therefore, they can help the societies quickly,
accurately, generously, and interestingly.
We may not be too slow, too easy going, think about nothing, waiting for the miracle down
from the sky. Let us be motivated. Let us be ready to study, struggle, and reach for
achievement, so that we can be good smart honest and polite generation.
Honorable judges and my beloved friends ……
As we are still young, use our time as well as possible. Never put of what you can do today
until tomorrow. The wise man said “TIME IS SWORD”. It means that if we use the time well,
we will feel happy and peace. On the contrary, if we do not use the time well, the time will kill
us. Therefore, our time will be useless. The sharp (keen) sword that we hold as the weapon
will kill ourselves because we don’t use it well. Out of concern, we are getting older, getting
weaker, finally die without anything.
Ladies and gentlemen ……..
The Prophet also said:
Keep five things before another five come. One of the five is: keep your youth before you get
old. The hadith is very suitable for our guidance. We may not be proud of our youth soul that
use the time freely with the reason we are still young. That is absolutely wrong reason.
There is Indonesian proverb “KELAPA MUDA KUPAS-KUPASIN KELAPA TUA TINGGAL
BATOKNYA” (waktu muda puas-puasin waktu tua tinggal tongkaknya) (FRESH COCONUT
TO BE PARED, OLD COCONUT LEAVES ITS HUSK, till young reach for satisfaction,
getting old gain nothing)

The development of country depends on its generation. If we have good generation, we will
have a good country. If we have bad generation, we will have bad country. So, reach the
knowledge more and more. Make your dream come true. Ask not what your country can for
you, but ask what you can do for your country.

In conclusion, I would like to remind us to study hard and let us give our best to our county.
God willing, our lovely country – Indonesia – in the future become a good country with good
societies and full of prosperity……..

English speech about young generation

Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb.
I respect the jury .
I respect the teachers and my friends .
Good morning all .

First of all, let us pray thanksgiving to Allah SWT who has given grace and gifts so, we can
gather in this place .
Before I deliver my speech , first  I will introduce myself. My name is Nona Avena , I'm from
SMA N 2 Lubuk pakam .
On this sunny morning I will deliver a speech The tittle is " New Life for Young Generation "
If we talk about the young generation would be familiar to us that young people are the next
generation .
Ladies and gentlemen we often hear in various media , both print and electronic , many
young people from junior high ,senior  high, even students of university who fall into the
negative things that harm themselves , the environment and even actions that violate the
law and religion . Like brawl, free sex and drugs even the most rampant today that
motorcycle gang . It's very surprising news for all of us that 60% of young people got into
free sex and drugs where most of them are high school students who are indirectly friends
around us. Even some young people who commit criminal acts . If the next generation have
not quality, how to advance and develop the country? I think it’s impossible.
 Ladies and gentlemen we can not close our eyes that faced modern era where science and
technology is growing rapidly, but The quality of the next generation is declining
quickly. Start from moral decline, religious and cultural values are fading even
lost, especially if we are talking about ethics is very much deviated from religion .
The Ladies and gentlemen , we should have as the future generation aware of all
this situation and how  we can learn to re- create the next generation who can actually
expected and were able to develop the nation and the State . The younger generation is the
golden generation , the young generation is the generation that creative,
innovative, cautious and noble character . With the rapid advances in technology, we as
young people should be able to use it to take out the things that are positive and discard the
things that are negative . I know it’s not easy to do that as easy as turning the palm of the
hand , but if we don’t start it now, who wants ?
Ladies and gentlemen , so let 's do the simple things because a great people do not have to
do great things but great people always start with something simple. Such as regulatory
compliance , increase the willingness and always upholds the valuesof local cultures .
Ladies and gentlemen we are all expected to be towards the younger generation of noble
character, the younger generation who will be the pride of the family , the nation , State and
Religion. For that let us together organize our lives back , fix any shortcomings and towards
a goodness in order to create peace and harmony . Let us reflect a younger generation as
the hope of the nation's generation.
