‘The Tribune’ and ‘Divya Himachal’ on 12th July, 2017 and detailed advertisement uploaded on
Commission’s website, i.e. http://www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc/, it is notified for information of
all concerned that additional 436 posts (250+186 backlog posts) of Assistant Professor (College
Cadre) Class-I (Gazetted) (on Contract basis) in various subjects under the Department of Higher
Education, H.P., will also be filled up on the basis of above referred advertisement. Break up of

online through Commission’s website up to 15th September, 2017 till 11:59 P.M. (IST) after
which link will be disabled.
NOTE: 1. The candidates, who have applied earlier for the posts of Assistant Professor
(College Cadre) in various subjects need not to apply again/ afresh.

2. The date of determining eligibility of all candidates in respect of essential

qualification(s) etc., shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of online
recruitment applications (ORA) i.e. 15th September, 2017.

Other terms & conditions shall remain unchanged as mentioned earlier in Advt.
No. 8/2017 dated 12th July, 2017.
