Consultus Publishing Services continuously strives to

provide the best learning materials for learners, and the
foremost teaching material. We believe that education
is a shared responsibility. The successful creation
and development of relevant content is key to the
empowerment of the Zimbabwean people.

Mwazvita is a formidable business woman who has vast experience in the Education
sector. She is not only one of the few female owners of publishing houses in
Zimbabwe, but also in the Southern African region. Mwazvita has over 33 years experience
within the publishing field. She stated her publishing career as a Trainee Science/Maths Editor at
College Press Publishers in 1987 and left, as Publishing Manager, in 1997 to be General
Manager of Zimbabwe Publishing House (ZPH). She later joined Longman Zimbabwe in 2001 as
Managing Director and moved up to Regional Director Longman Zimbabwe, Zambia and
Malawi until 2013. Armed with this vast experience, Mwazvita started her own Publishing and
Distribution business in a male dominated field. She started her company, Consultus
Publishing Services (CPS), in June 2013. Mwazvita has been using her vast experience to
manage CPS to be viable and thrive in the current economic environment. Under Mwazvita’s
leadership, in just 7 years, CPS has published textbooks fromECD to Secondary level, won
tenders to supply CPS new curriculum textbooks, for two consecutive years and moved business
from rented premises to own a premises in Eastlea. Mwazvita is unstoppable as she aims to
increase her product portfolio to include digital learning materials in line with current trends and
customer expectations.

Consultus Publishing Services has a staff compliment of 24 and offices in Harare, Bulawayo,
Masvingo, Gweru and Mutare, distributing to all the Zimbabwe provinces.
Consultus Publishing Services is a family business, owned and
run by Managing Director, Mwazvita Patricia Madondo. A
proudly Zimbabwean business, CPS publishes for the
Zimbabwe Primary and Secondary Schools curriculum.
Consultus Publishing Services began its operations in June
2013. Now, 7 years on, CPS has developed into one of the
leading educational publishing houses in Zimbabwe.
