Rotation tools
These tools found on the View ribbon tab can rotate your model to a predefined orienta on.

Tool Descrip on Example

Displays the structure in the isometric view. The angle which
defines isometric view is generally X = 30, Y = 30, Z = 0

Isometric
View

Displays the structure as seen from the posi ve Z axis. When


the global Y axis is ver cal, this is the eleva on view, as
looking towards the nega ve direc on of the Z-axis.

Front
View

Displays the structure as seen from the nega ve Z axis. When


the global Y axis is ver cal, this is the eleva on view, as seen
looking towards the posi ve direc on of the Z-axis.

Back
View

Displays the structure as seen from the nega ve X axis. When


the global Y axis is ver cal, this is the side eleva on, as seen
looking towards the posi ve direc on of the X-axis.

the global Y axis is ver cal, this is the side eleva on, as seen
looking towards the nega ve direc on of the X-axis.

Right
View

Displays the structure as seen from the top looking down


(posi ve Y axis). When the global Y axis is ver cal, this is the
plan view, as seen from the sky looking down.

Top View

Displays the structure as seen from the bo om looking up


(nega ve Y axis). When the global Y axis is ver cal, this is as if
one is looking up skywards.
