PROPÓSITO DE LA UNIDAD DESEMPEÑOS ESPERADOS

Los estudiantes mejoren su
habilidad comunicativa en el uso
de la lengua extranjera a través de
las 4 habilidades Leer, Escribir,
Hablar y escuchar
★ Speaking: Produces short messages and engages in short spoken interactions about
friends.
★ Listening: Uses listening comprehension strategies (predicting and inferring) to
understand the purpose and identify specific information in an oral text about friends.
★ Reading: Read for the main idea and specific information, predicting information
from words and pictures, and connecting the reading to their own ideas and
experiences.
★ Writing: Writes a descriptive paragraph about a person (including topic sentence,
supporting details and conclusion), using brainstorming.

Ss watch and listen to a video about a lost girl and then, describe adjectives,

Session 3 Reading:

Ss read a text about two classmates that are alike and write a

comparison between themselves and a partner.
Session 4 Speaking: has/have (3th– 6th)
Ss students tell to a classmate a short description of a member
of his/her family.  Verb to be - Than  Writing
Session 5 Writing: Checklist
Ss students write a paragraph to describe a famous person and (3rd - 4th)
make one comparison with them.
Session 6 Speaking:
Ss students imagine they are a superhero and describe his/ her
best superhero friends.
Session 7 Writing:
Ss students write a paragraph to describe and compare two
classmates”.
Session 8 Speaking:
Ss students prepare the oral product describing their best
friend (individually).
Session 9 Written Product:
Ss students present their speeches describing their best friend
(individually).
Session 10 Oral Product:
Ss students work on the written product describing their best
friend (individually).
