Strategic human resource management can be defined as the linking of human resources with
strategic goals and objectives in order to improve business performance and develop
organizational culture that foster innovation, flexibility and competitive advantage.

As far as the content of the course is concerned I hope I have covered all the thing which have
been learned in this semester. As a course, SHRM is a very informative course which provides a
learning experience regarding the HR policies and its linkage with company’s goals and
objectives.
The learning experience will surely help a lot of people who were in the class, but belonging to
the field of HR. Rest of the people will be the ones on whom the change management in SHRM
will be applied in different departments of any company.
The only issue that is faced during the lectures is lack of interaction due to online classes which
is not as effective as the traditional way. This was the first ever experience of online classes and
a lot is to be managed due to this pandemic. Work from Home, classes and family which turn
out to be not so good experience overall. Connectivity issues was a major drawback in the
country like Pakistan where majority of the people are using internet connections that are not
suitable for VOIP that too because it wasn’t needed before this pandemic.
Ma’am, overall you have been an amazing teacher with a strong hold on your field knowledge.
The only barrier was online sessions and definitely it could’ve been a lot better if it was the old
way.
The overall learning experience is good and knowledge gained can be applied to the
organisation where the people are currently working in the form of suggestions and if lucky can
get implemented as well.
