I. Introduction

The store was founded in Los Angeles on April 16, 1984 by husband and wife, Do Won Chang and

his wife, Jin Sook Chang from South Korea. Don Chang had immigrated to the United States from South

Korea in 1981. According to Entrepreneur Magazine, he had worked three jobs to save up money to open

the first store. 

Stylized as FOREVER 21, is an American only fast fashion retailer headquartered in Los Angeles,

California. Forever 21 began as the stored called Fashion 21 and has grown into the clothing lines Forever

21, with over 794 Forever 21 stores worldwide Stores can be found all through the U.S. furthermore, in

Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.

Forever 21 is known for its trendy offerings and low pricing. The company sells accessories, beauty

products, home goods and clothing for women, men and children. Forever 21 has 32,800 numbers of

employees last 2018.
