SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

Name of the Enterprise

The name of business is POTATO BIG BITES, the proponents decided to

use this name based on its convenience for the customers.

The proponents decided to use the logo of a popular reality show named PBB

(Pinoy Big Brother) and a potato clipart so we come up to call the product as

POTATO BIG BITES (PBB). This logo symbolizes trends or popularity because

many people will easily remember the business due to its catchy or unique name.

The colors in the logo symbolizes the following: Red for Stop, Yellow for

Cravings, and Blue for Thirst and lastly the Potato clip art symbolizes the people

who are hungry. All in all, it produces the slogan of the enterprise which is "POTATO

BIG BITES (PBB) will stop your cravings and thirst”.

Store Location

The propose "POTATO BIG BITES" will be sold near "Tiangge" located

along the Taytay Public Market. Since the proponents are starting to build a small

business of potato snack with drinks on one hand on the go. POTATO BIG BITES

target market are the students, office worker, and passers by.

Plan Site/ Office Location

The plan site of the production site will be suited in San Juan Taytay, Rizal.

This is the place of production and storage of the propose project the proponents

decided to locate the head office or production site near Taytay Public Market and to

the propose store location to eliminate the cost of transportation and to save time in

buying raw materials needed for the production and also to easily distribute the

materials near the store.

Descriptive Definition of the Project

"POTATO BIG BITES" is a food stall since eating is one of the habits of the

people all over the world. In Philippines setting, where Filipino’s experiencing

sudden hunger due to those activities such as buying some stuff, employees

passing by during their breaks, some passer by and for those people who are

craving for some street foods. So we decided to propose a project or proposal that

will be convenient to the students, employees and some passer by. The business

wants to value the health particularly each of their personal taste when it comes to

snacks and time of the consumers in eating food, that's why the proponents invented

a unique food stall that can be bought and eat while they're on the go, specifically in

public places.

The food preparation would be a snack particularly the potato lollipop with a

drink in one holding. The potato lollipop is at the top with their chosen sauce while at

the bottom is the drink. In this case, the customers would not problem how they will

eat their on the go snack, because they can hold both potato lollipop as snack with

drinks in one hand.

Project Long term Objectives

The proponent of the proposed project POTATO BIG BITES business is

aiming in the next 5 years to grow the business by having variety of flavor and

products to gain more customer, to expand partnership, to have more branches and

to be well known business in terms of food industry.

Feasibility Criteria

The proponents decided to use a guideline first, the market that this project is

going to enter, the management structure, technical feasibility, financial feasibility,

and the socio-economic environment of the project. This project is profitable

because it will satisfy and solve the problems of the consumers and the target

market needs and wants, the project is offering potato lollipop with drink in one. This

project considers the socio-economic environments in terms of helping the

customers or future customers and preparing their snacks when they are in rush. It

lessen the struggle and stress by providing convenient food.

Highlights of the project

The proponents chose to establish a potato snack with drink, because the

proponents believes that a snack is part of every Filipino's meal, and food is the

basic necessity that every people would have. The product can be easily be sold to

the community and the demand for a snack every spare time a person can have is

unquestionable. Also, the advertisement will be easy because food is every Filipinos

need everyday.

This kind of business is under the category of food manufacturing business

where they are committed in producing and preparing the ready to eat snack.

This snack consist a potato lollipop with drinks in one package. The potato

lollipop is a kind of finger food that goes with a drink in one package.

The proponents choose this kind of business because of people's sudden

cravings for some snacks and can satisfy people's hunger due to their hectic

schedules and in a convenient way.

Mode of financing

Financing is the act of providing funds for business activities, making

purchases or investing. The POTATO BIG BITES contribute for the capital wherein

each member is required to contribute equal cash of P10,000 each for the total of

P60,000 are the major source of financing.

The initial capital investment will come from the contribution, personal saving

and loan from relatives of each partners. They decided to choose the source and to

avoid having a loan from a bank or other lending business.

Investment Cost

The POTATO BIG BITES will have an initial investment of sixty thousand

pesos (P60,000). The amount will be used to organized and operate the business.

The suggested capital will be used for cost of product, rental expenses and utility

expenses of the partnership will be covered.

Management Feasibility

The progression of business organization depends on the proper

management. It really points out on the proper flow of operation, the organization of

all the structures of the project, the position, relationship, and duties and

responsibilities of the people involved in the business operation. Partners will include

themselves in the operation of the business or enterprise.

Technical Feasibility

The business must offer a delicious and affordable snack. The proponents

were able to present details of the propose project on how the business will produce.

The place of production and storage is suited in San Juan Taytay, Rizal. Which is

the place for production and storage of the propose project products and the

ingredients will be purchased direct Taytay Public Market. The list of supplies,

machinery and equipments that will be used to produce the new product will be

presented as well as utilities that the company will consume for every production.

The proponents concluded that the project is technically feasible because the

procedure can be easily done and the raw materials are available in Taytay Public

Market.

Market Feasibility

The study market of the POTATO BIG BITES focuses in building a unique

business that fulfills the customer's satisfaction and convenience in a way that they

don't have to find a drink to quench their thirst. The proponents target market are all

people who just want to satisfied their hunger and craving in a convenient way

because it is a finger food.

Financial Feasibility

The financial study made for the POTATO BIG BITES has the capital of sixty

thousand pesos (P60,000) from their own contribution covers estimation and

evaluation of the future profitability cash transaction and financial condition of the

project to guide the management of the business.

They analyze the process of approaches that they are going to use through

the balance sheet, which gives information about the financial position of the

business where assets are listed together with the liabilities and owner's equity.

They also focused on the results of the income statement which summarized the

revenues earned and the expenses incurred by the business in a certain period in

order to determine whether the business is making a profit and financially solvent.
