Now, let us do the following exercises in the English book:

In skip counting, we count forward by

the given number i.e. we keep adding
the same number each time to the
previous number.

Skip counting by 3: In skip counting by 3, we skip 2 numbers and jump

to the third number i.e. we count forward from the given number and
we keep adding 3 to the previous number.

For e.g. 3 + 3 = 6, 6 + 3 = 9, 9 + 3 = 12

Let’s look at this picture carefully to understand:

Let’s see on the number line, here we are skipping 2 numbers and jumping to the third
number.

Babies of Animals
Very large animals like elephants, cows etc.

usually give birth to only one baby at a time.

Small animals like dogs, cats and rabbits have

many babies at a time.

The young ones of different animals:

lion cub horse colt dog puppy

hen chick goat kid kangaroo joey

sheep lamb cow calf cat kitten

deer fawn pig piglet duck duckling
