Pakistan Engineering Council Attaturk Avenue (East) G-5/2 Islamabad
Subject : Accreditation with PEC –CESET Students in CoVID-19 Pandemic
It is submitted that some badges of CESET (list attached) were required to undergo PEC examination after completing four weeks training. The classes were conducted as per the curriculum duly approved by PEC and accordingly question papers along with solutions were submitted to PEC. You are aware of the fact that all educational institutes are closed due to COVID-19 since 13 March 2020 and likely to remain closed for an indefinite period. CESET has fulfilled all the requirement of PEC, despite heavy financial losses including conduct of free classes after completing the degree, just to secure the interest of its students. Initial badges of CESET have already been accredited with PEC and the said badges as per list attached have been considerably delayed for accreditation. We are receiving request from students to wave-off this exam, as they have already passed all Islamia University Bahawalpur requirements for the degree in fall-2017 examination. In view of the above, it is requested to wave off this examination and provide provisional PEC numbers to the students so that they can apply for the jobs/admission at higher level. Thanks and Regards
