Dear Sir,

I am writing my educational background including my motivation to join the Department of Data

analysis and mathematical modeling in Doctorate program. I aim to convey the reason for my
interest, and the relevance of my background to the advertised post.
I have done Masters of Electrical Engineering with Telecommunication Specialization from
University of Engineering & Technology Taxila Pakistan with Good grades. I studied major
courses such as Ad hoc and Sensor Networks, Stochastic Processes, Advanced DSP, Mobile
Communication Systems and Real Time Modeling and Simulation with Minor as Mathematics
where I choose Linear System & Control, Nonlinear System and Control and Optimization
Techniques.
I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Telecommunication Engineering from Allama Iqbal
Open University Islamabad, Pakistan. As a part of my degree course I studied various subjects
relating to diverse aspects of electrical engineering and telecommunication like as Mobile
Communication, Antenna & Wave Propagation, Digital Logic Design, Control Analysis, Signal
& System, Micro Computer Interfacing, DSP and Digital Filters, Feedback Amplifiers &
Oscillators, Digital Comm. Systems, Telecom Transmission System Electrical Machines,
Measuring Instruments, Electronic Devices, Linear ICs, Transmission lines, Data Structure,
Computer Networks, Micro Computer Interfacing, Mobile Communications, Telecom switching.
I have done a three year Diploma Associate Engineering in Electrical Technology in which I
studied Transmission & Distribution of Electrical Energy, AC Machines, DC Machines &
Batteries, Principles of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Instruments & Measurements,
Utilization of Electrical Energy, Installation Planning & Estimating, Power Plant & Energy
Conservation, Transmission Distribution and Protection of Electrical System, Repair &
Maintenance of Electrical Equipment, Digital & Industrial Electronics.
After completing my bachelor’s degree I worked as DSL customer’s support engineer at
National Telecommunication Corporation Islamabad under Ministry of Information &
Telecommunication (MOIT) Islamabad, Pakistan, Which provided me a strong theoretical
knowledge along with extensive practical and professional inspiring experience in this field.
Now I am working as Research Associate at Centre for Emerging Sciences, Engineering &
Technology (CESET) Islamabad where I am implementing my educational and professional
skills of Telecom Engineering in the labs of CESET w.e.f. 5th September 2012.
Throughout my career, I remained in top ten students among the fellows in hundreds. I am highly
motivated individual, still have thrust of knowledge in the relevant field especially in digital
communication and mobile communication. I am excited to expand my knowledge and skills in
Mobile Internet and software components of communication system. Therefore, this program
looks me very interesting to join. I am respectfully submitting my application for admission as I
firmly believe that this program is quite fit with my educational and experience background.
Above this, it will help me to guide my future in the direction of my interest. I also believe I am
able to do inspirational innovative work which I can properly disclose by presenting myself upon
interviewing me.
