Kirbo The Goblin Cleric

Kirbo is a deserter. He was sent out in a front line during one of many wars
between goblin clans. However he was smart enough to understand that he is used by
his clan as a meat shield.
During a night before departing he took anything he had and ran as far as he can.
Eventually he found himself in the city of Kargenweld. He survived mainly by
stealing but he didn't want to steal. He only took as much as he needed.
He tried finding a job in the city but his size was not really helpful. He was
willing to try anything but it always flopped and he always ended up on the street
Most of his days he spent sneaking into libraries and reading books he is small
enough that people didn't notice him usually. But when they did they usually chased
him away.
But that didn't discourage him he was just more careful every time. His favorite
type of books were about gods but he wouldn't turn a good book about history or
science or magic.
After a few years of struggling on the street around age of 11 he was caught while
sneaking inside the temple of Chauntea with a watering can. When the priestes
noticed him he approached him and asked what was he doing.
He explained that he was coming every second day to water a little flower that was
slowly dying. He expected to be thrown out and chased away as it happened always
and everywhere
but when he got caught this time the priestes started talking to him. He explained
what happend to him through out his life. The kind lady brought him some food and
let him go.
This was the first time someone showed kindness to Kirbo. He knew he had to repay
the lady somehow The next time he came with a watering can. He brought the only
thing he didn't loose or ate since he came to the city.
An old book in goblin that he stole from the leader of his tribe.
He brought it to the temple the sister was moved by this gift when he explained how
much it meant for him and that it was the only thing he had left. She invited Kirbo
to eat with her and rest of the temple members and after showing the members
anything but the good will he was accepted by the temple members (Although he would
get some weird looks every now and then)
They tought him a lot about Chauntea and history of the temple and in sometime he
became kind of a mascot of the temple although he was later officially promoted to
a cleric.
Kirbo finally found his place although he knew he won't stay in the temple forever.
He as well as the priestess knew that very well but he promised her that he will be
spreading the word of God to the best of his ability as well as take care of
himself.
