1) What is the difference between an employer and a tenderer?
An employer maybe is a person, body, or a group of individuals that owns a
contract and needs the services of an expert. While tenderers is either an
individual or a company, having interest in a contract and manifest it’s
through a procedures.

2) Why should only tender from prequalified tenderers be considered for a

contract?
Prequalified tenderers should be considered for a contract because they have
met the requirement in clause (1.2) which says all tenderers shall provide the
qualification information. This may vary from one contract to the other.

3) In what instance should all tenderer include the information and

document with their tenders?
This can be in an instance where they were no prequalification for the
potential tenderers. Clause (1.4)

4) List some documents to be submitted be included in the tender file are

as follows;
 Form of securities
 Drawings
 Bill of quantities
 Specifications
 Appendix to condition of contracts
 Condition of contract
 Form to tender and qualification information
 These information to tenderers
5) What do you understand by Joint venture?
It is a situation where a commercial enteric undertaken jointly by two or
more parties venture into contract but retrain their distinct identities. This
sometime happen when the contract requires some particular expertise and
one of the parties cannot meet up alone.
