Definition of Sentence
Sentence- When words combine to make a proper sense is called a sentence.

What is sense?
When sentences are written in any of the following pattern is called a sense.

S + V1/V2 + O
S + H.V+ (not) + V+ O
H.V + S + (not) + V+ O?
1) (My brother) (is) (going) (to Australia.)
2) (Is) going my brother to Australia.
3) (Is) (my brother) (going) (to Australia?)
4) My going brother is to Australia.

She goes to school. They are doing their studies. Was I playing football?

Types of Sentences
1) Affirmative, Assertive, Declarative, Positive
2) Negative Sentence (not)
3) Interrogative (?)
4) Negative Interrogatives (Not) (?)
5) Optative Sentences (Blessing/Wish) (May God bless you!)(May God bless you with a son!)
6) Exclamatory Sentences (!) (Sudden Reactions or feelings)
7) Imperative Sentence (With Let) (Without Let)(Request, Suggestion, Order)
Keep your city clean and green, Shut the door, Remove your shoes here.
Let us go for a walk. ( you r included), Let the children watch T.V (Permission)
