The Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology is a premier
technical institution in the industrial city of Chennai. The college was started in the
year 2001 by Thiru. S.Regupathy, Founder and Former Minister of State for
Environment & Forests, Govt of India. Ever since its inception it has set the stage
for quality technical education for the rural students. Our college is affiliated to
Anna University, Chennai and approved by the AICTE, NewDelhi. The college
offers Eight undergraduate programmes in the disciplines of AUTO, BME, BT,
CSE, CIVIL, ECE, EEE, MECH, and eight post-graduate programmes viz., MBA,
MCA, M.E-CSE, M.EVLSI, M.E-EST, M.E-PED, M.E-MFG and M.Tech - BT. The
Departments of BT, CSE, ECE, EEE and MECH are accredited by NBA, New
Delhi. The institution has signed MOU with several leading industries and Foreign
Universities viz., Michigan Technological University, USA and PSB Academy,
Singapore. The Departments of BioTech, CSE, ECE and Chemistry are
recognized as Research Centers by Anna University, Chennai. The college is
recognized by DSIR, New Delhi as Scientific Industrial Research Organization.
The institution has Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Business incubation cell,
Women empowerment cell and placement cell etc.

is a coordinator of Entrepreneurship Development Cell for last 10 years 3. He has
organized “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp" funded by DST-NIMAT project
during 2016-2017 & 2018-19. 4. He has organized member in FDP on
“Entrepreneurship Development" Funded by DST-NIMAT project during 2017-18
5. He has participated more than 10 programs like workshop, FDP, Conference
and Facilitation Workshop related with Entrepreneurship 6. He has an Institute
Chief Co ordinator of IEDC organized by Anna University, Chennai 7. He has
attended two facilitation workshop organized by EDII(DST-NIMAT) Project 8. He
have been organized “Entrepreneurship Expo event” in every year
