(i) Preparation of fair drawings of Hydrogeological/Drilling data on various sizes
and scales.
(ii) Preparation of figures for scientific and technical reports and papers to be
issued/published.
(iii) Reduction and enlargement of maps on required scale and size.
(iv) Preparation of simple display maps, charts, panels, exhibits etc.
(v) Coloring of all types of maps.
(vi) Preparation of drawings of high accuracy and complex nature containing data
like Topography, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Drilling, Geochemical, Geomorphology
etc.
(vii) Preparation of display maps, charts, exhibits on required scale for Exhibitions.
(viii) Preparation of fair drawings of the compiled data from different scales.
(ix) Coloring of fair drawings and figures of Hydrogeological and Drilling
investigation reports and maps for publication e.g. Hydrogeological map of India,
Hydrogeological State Atlas, District Hydrogeological Maps etc.
(x) Any other related works assigned by Chief Draftsman.
Essential: Three years Diploma in Draftsman (Civil) or Draftsman (Mechanical)
from a recognized Institute.
Two years experience in the line i.e. Draftsman (Civil) or Draftsman (Mechanical)
from the Central Government or the State Government or Union Territory or
Statutory or Autonomous organization or Public Sector undertaking.
Or Universities or Recognized Research Institute or Listed Private organization.
All over India as per transfer policy of Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water
Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
Not exceeding 30 years. (Relaxable for Government servant’s upto five years in
accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government).
