Assignment No: 1

Q1. What was the first speech of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) before Koraish on Koh-e-
Safa? Discuss briefly. (5)

ANS: To declare the favored religion of Islam to all Arab groups and wherever all through the
world, Allah (SWT) educated Muhammad, The Last Prophet (saw) to clearly articulate his
prophetic essential reveal to the larger part truth of his certainty.

Muhammad, The Last Prophet (saw) progressed toward Mount Safa, the most remarkable ascent
in the whole of Makkah, to announce Islam to its kinfolk when 360 images were set around the
Kaaba. He felt no fear or disrespect. Stayed on a high spot, and yelled, 'Ya Sabaha-hu'. His voice
resounded on the mountain and pulled in the thought of the people. Tremendous gatherings from
various groups surged toward him to hear what he was going to state. Muhammad, The Last
Prophet (saw) went to them and expressed, 'O people! Will you believe me if I state there is a
military strolling behind this mountain which is going to attack you?' They all answered, 'clearly
we would, we have not heard a lie from you for a marvelous length'.

Muhammad, The Last Prophet (saw) expressed, 'O people of the Quraish! I alert you to fear
God's order. Save yourself from the fire. My position is identical to that of the gatekeeper who
sees the foe from a far separation and alerts his kinfolk of the danger of their enemies. Does such
an individual ever lie to his family?'

Abu Lahab ibn Abd Al-Muttalib, who feared on the off chance that Muhammad, The Last
Prophet's (saw) words should astonish the people, finished the quietness and keeping an eye on
him expressed, 'Give our promise to you? May you kick the bucket (fail miserably)! Have you
amassed us here to reveal to us such words?'

Abu Lahab ibn Abd Al-Muttalib encroached upon Muhammad, The Last Prophet (saw) so
impolitely and didn't let him continue with his talk. As a side-effect of so much rudeness,
renouncing of the real world, and cooperation with the symbol admirers and polytheists, Allah
(SWT) revealed the refrain that genuinely censures Muhammad, The Last Prophet (saw).

"May the hands of Abu Lahab pass on, may he (himself) bite the dust. His wealth benefits him
not, nor what he had earned. After a short time will he cook in a bursting fire, and his better half,
the transporter of the fuel, upon her neck a rope of wound palm-fiber."

The Battle of Badr was fought on seventeenth of Ramadan 2 A.H. yet a huge segment of the
Muslims had moved to Madina anyway the Kuffar couldn't see them cheery even there. Another
mind-boggling clarification was that the economy of Quraish depended upon trade which was
generally related to Syria. Badar is a town which is around 80 miles from Madina. In any case,
Muslim furnished power was still too nearly nothing and slight as differentiated and Kuffar's
military. They had 313 men, 6 Swords, 70 camels and 2 horses specifically. There were only 82
Mahajreen and rest was Insaars.Kuffar's military contained 1000 men, 100 horses, 600 Jackets
and a few camels. Obviously this has all the reserves of being too strong a military. The Kuffar
were disagreeable, haughty and energetic that they would convey their optimal retaliation from
the Muslims. None of them understood that results would be exceptionally humiliating. Despite
different differentiations between the forces, the Muslims won the war. As an issue of first
significance Hazrat Ali (R.A), Hazrat Hamza and Hazrat Ubaida-container Haris (R.A) went to
fight three Kuffars including Utbah, Sheebah and Waleed-canister Uttbah. The Muslims
executed them immediately and a while later the general war started. Muslims demonstrated
unexampled strength and finally won the fight. Two energetic Muslims Maaz and Maouz took
lead and executed Abu-Jahal who was the official of Kuffar's military at last, 70 Kuffars were
killed and 70 were made prisoners. 14 Muslims met shahadat. Prophet (S.A.W) gave eminent
treatment to the prisoners of war. He (S.A.W) freed some of them as a benevolence, rest were
encouraged to pay Fiddiya and if they couldn't pay Fiddiya, by then they should show
scrutinizing and staying in contact with 10 Muslim children and get free.
