My interpersonal communication plan


Objective: To classify how I communicate through a self-diagnosis, with the
objective of designing an action plan to improve some of the areas that could be
improved.

Interpretation of self-diagnosis results:


I have good communication, but it could improve. Remember that the work
environment is characterized by peace and the assurance of achieving results.
Questions

a. What positive behaviors could you identify in the way you


communicate? 

I am a good listener most of the times, but there are some days that probably I
am not in my best mood, so I can easily get angry and make some bad
comments about my co-workers.

b. What behaviors of yours do you feel need improving?  

Maybe I need to be more empathic with my co-workers, and show them more
respect.

c. How do you think your way of communicating affects people and


results?

As I said before, some days I am not in my best mood, so people can think that I
am aggressive, bad leader, or other bad impressions that can cause not having
confidence with me anymore in the future.

d. What factors do you think influence the way you communicate with
others?

Everything, for me communication is not only the message you want to spread,
there are a lot of factors like your not-verbal communication, your ideas, opinions,
feelings, all of this factors can contribute to have a better communicate society.

e. What conclusions can you make based on these observations that will
allow you to improve your communication as a leader, both in the work
environment and in your personal environment?  

I need to control my anger, desperation and frustration. This three are my


greatest enemy what causes my communication no to be the greatest and be a
bad leader sometimes.

How?
1. Controlling better my emotions of anger and frustration when I feel that way
in a period of 3 months.
2. Having a good relation with my workers in a period of 1 month.
3. Talking them in a correct way in order to become a better leader in a period
of 2 months.
