Re: Secondary school teachers exchange program
between Vietnam and Korea in 2018

Implementing Document No. 496/BGDDT-HTQT dated February 02, 2018 by the
Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) on the Secondary school teachers exchange
program between Vietnamese and Korean schools in 2018 (hereinafter referred to as
Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018);
Following Document No. 537/SGDDT-GDPT dated February 23, 2018 by Hanoi
Department of Education and Training on the Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program
in 2018.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training would like to inform the Program as
follows:
1. Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018
- Time: 3 months (From March 27, 2018 to June 23, 2018).
- Location: Seoul, Busan and some other cities with Vietnamese residences in Korea (attached
Letter of Invitation from the Korean side).
2. Training for teachers before coming to Korea is organized by MOET
- Time: MOET will send e-mails directly to teachers
- Location: Ministry of Education and Training, 35 Dai Co Viet, Hanoi
(Please refer to the electronic bulletin for details of the training)
- Cost of training: 1,000,000 VND / person / 3 days. (Cost of training, travelling and meals
during the training funded by the school sending teachers or teachers themselves).
- Training program: Under the guidance of MOET.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training hereby requests the above mentioned Heads of
Divisions of Education and Training at Districts and the Principal of Viet Duc High School to
perform the following contents:
1. To send letters of invitation from the Korean side and to announce information about the
Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018 to teachers and Board of
Administrators of schools with teachers officially received invitation from the Korean side
(attached list).
2. To guide and support teachers in fulfilling necessary procedures as prescribed by Vietnamese
laws to participate in the Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018 under the
plan of MOET.
3. Units with teachers participating the Program to facilitate teachers in participating the training
program organized by the MOET.
4. Teachers participating in the Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018 to
submit a Commitment to the Board of Administrators of his/her school pledging to strictly
comply with regulations of the Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018
(According to Document No. 537/SGDDT-GDPT dated February 23, 2018 by Hanoi
Department of Education and Training).
5. Divisions of Education and Training and schools mentioned above to manage teachers
participating in the Vietnamese and Korean teacher exchange program in 2018, submit teachers’
reports on results of the Program participation to the Hanoi Department of Education and
Training before July 01, 2018.
