PW TTh 5:30-7:00 “WITNESS AS STEWARDS” Pastor Danilo R.

Endraga

1. What did I learn from this topic?

To be stewards means taking care of all the resources God have given us, this includes our body,
time, environment, and money. Stewardship is an important part we must consider especially as
witnesses of Christ. Through this we can testify of God’s Lordship in our lives. Others can see
how we love God as our Creator and how we value our relationship with Him. This relationship
brings a lot of advantages to us not only physically, but in all aspects. Taking care of our health
and body, being wise in spending our time, and using our talents for Him are vital in our
Christian life.

2. How did it make an impact to me?

As a millennial, these points are very important in my everyday life. I often sleep late, thus
disregarding my health and wasting my time. I am often reminded by my parents too that what
I’m not doing is against health principles. Actually, I’ve known all along that doing these stuff
won’t benefit me. Procrastinating and sleeping late will only bring trouble to me and that makes
me sadder. But through these lessons, I’ve learned that I am not the owner of my body and the
time I spend. It made me reflect on my actions.

3. How will I apply it in my personal life?

It’s really hard to adjust my habits but I don’t think it’s impossible. First, health is important right
now because my body needs to be treated as the temple of the Holy Spirit. I’ve noticed that the
more I abuse myself, the more I drift away from God. Second, the time I have is not for my own
desires alone. I need to work on my relationship with Him by spending more time with God.
Third, the talents He gave me must we used for His glory. This is something I often neglect
‘cause I think I’ve done enough for Him in the ministry but I haven’t done a lot at all. I need to
use my time to improve my talents/skills to be useful in the ministry. Fourth, I have to be a
faithful giver. I know that this is a responsibility that I can’t neglect ‘cause I admit that everything
I have now is from Him. I have to give back what He deserves and rightfully His. Stewardship is
an important factor in our everyday life. I’m glad I’ve learned about it again.
