This document contains a summary of Scania's range of power take-offs and the most
important technical details.

Explanation of concepts Further information about the various connections and locations of the power take-
offs and the maximum permitted load is available from the document General infor-
Designation A designation ending with F means that the hydraulic mation about power take-offs.
pump is connected to the power take-off via a propeller More detailed technical information is available in the data sheet for the respective
shaft. F stands for flange (flange).
power take-off.
A designation ending with P means that the hydraulic
pump is connected directly to the power take-off. P
stands for pump (pump).

Number of control sig- The power take-off can have 2 outputs which are then
nals (PTO Control) controlled by 1 or 2 signals. The signal/signals activate
the outputs simultaneously (1 signal output) or inde-
pendently of each other (2 signal outputs).

Position Power take-off positions. Only applies to double power

take-offs.

Note that the mounting flange holes are slightly larger than that indicated by DIN100.
This simplifies the installation of the propeller shaft without impairing safety when
installing.
