• Fuse no. 319 in the chassis central electrical unit (P8).
• That the Equaliser ventilation diaphragm is not blocked (see illustration).

1. Cut all power to the vehicle by disconnecting

the electrical cables to the negative battery
terminals.

2. Remove the harness-to-component connector.

3. Remove the blanking piece.
Information! Note the blanking piece locking
devices.

4. Remove the cables and mark the cables if

necessary so that they are positioned correctly
when fitting.

5. Remove the screws securing the equaliser.

6. Refit in reverse order and supply voltage to the
vehicle by connecting the negative battery
terminals. Delete any fault codes in the CMS
control unit.
