CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS


of the

MALASIQUI NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TROUPE

CONSTITUTION
Article I

Name of the Organization

Section 1. This organization shall be known “MALASIQUI NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DANCE TROUPE” of Malasiqui
National High School, Malasiqui, Pangansinan.

Article II

Statement of Purpose

Section 1. The Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe is the official performing arts of Malasiqui National
High School, Malasiqui, Pangasinan.

Section 2. This organization aims to provide opportunity for the learners of Malasiqui National High School that
shall develop their talents and skills through the showcase of their choreography, performances, and services,
the strong bond of friendship and camaraderie, and loyalty to the school.

Section 3. This organization aims to provide entertainment open to the Malasiqui National High School
community and beyond.

Section 4. This organizations aims to provide support for school events, as well as other clubs’ programs. Every
activities shall be communicated to the adviser and he/she will provide excuse letters, if necessary. No
individual, regardless of their position, shall not take advantage of the troupe, as well as its members, for their
own benefit.

Section 5. This organization aims to represent Malasiqui National High School in outside school-related activities
and competitions. Invitation/s coming from the faculty of Malasiqui National High School and stakeholder/s to
perform outside the school for their own private affairs (eg. birthdays, debut, opening of an establisment,
anniversary etc.) during class hours and eventually, may can affect the member/s’ classes shall be
communicated directly to the school and approved by the principal and the parents. The school is not liable for
any personal affairs of its members and unofficial shows.

Section 6. The earnings coming from the token/s and winnings of the organization will be given 60/40 scheme;
40% will be given equally to its members while the 60% is for the procurement and maintenance of materials
and uniform, or vice versa.

Section 7. This organization aims to follow and implement the rules and regulations of Malasiqui National High
School.
Section 8. This organization aims to maintain the cleanliness of Malasiqui National High School, as well as its
facilities.

Article III

Membership

Section 1. All the members of the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe must be a enrolled student of
Malasiqui National High School, Malasiqui, Pangasinan.

Section 2. The right to vote and hold office is entitled to every active member of this organization.

ARTICLE IV

Officers

Section 1. The officers of the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe shall be comprised of the following
elected positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer and one
representative for each year.

Section 2. The term of office for the elected officers shall be one (1) school year.

Section 3. Vacancies in all elected officers aside from the office of the President shall be filled up by another
active member who shall be appointed by the President with the consent of the adviser and members of the
Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe.

ARTCLE V

Election

Section 1. There will be an election of officers in the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe during the
start of every school year.

Section 2. The one who occupies the highest position in the set of the outgoing officers shall automatically
become the presiding officer during the election. Once the position for President has already been occupied, the
President-elect will then take the place of the presiding officer.

Section 3. Aspiring officers must be nominated to become a candidate in a certain position. Active members
shall vote by raising their hand in support of their nominee.

Section 4. The election shall follow the majority-wins basis. In case there is only one nominee, he/she must earn
atleast 2/3 of the present members during the election. Otherwise, there will be another election for the
remaining vacant positions.

Section 5. The elect-officers shall assume in office immediately after the election.

Section 6. The officers shall attend the mass oath-taking of all organization officers which will be conducted by
the Supreme Student Council.

ARTICLE VI

Schedules of Meetings and Practices

Section 1. The meetings of Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe shall be administered as approved by
the members and the adviser. The exact time shall be decided by the members and the adviser so as to fit their
class schedules.
Section 2. During urgent meetings, this organization can summon all the members anytime as long as there is a
valid excuse letter which indicates the reason of such activity.

Section 3. The President shall be the one to call meetings.

Section 4. A quorum shall consist of 2/3 of the total population of active members in this organization.

ARTICLE VII

Amendments

Section 1. The Constitution and By-Laws of Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe may be amended with
the approval of the adviser first, followed by the approval of two-thirds (2/3) of the membership present at a
meeting intended for the conduct of such amendments.

Section 2. The Constitution and/or By-Laws may be added to or deleted upon the approval of the adviser and
with the approval of two-thirds (2/3) of the membership present at a scheduled meeting for such agendum.

Section 3.Proposed amendments to the Constitution must be submitted to the entire membership at least thirty
(30) days prior to a scheduled meeting. This may be by mail, email, journal publication, or website.

BY-LAWS

Article I

Duties of the Officers and Member

Section I. The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe.
It shall be his duty to preside all meetings, see to it that the provisions and Constitution and By-Laws of the
organization is enforced, perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the adviser and uphold the
rules and regulations promulgated by the Constitution and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 2. The Vice-President shall assist the President in all matters where his/her assistance is need, take over
the functions of the President in his/her absence, assume the office of the President when it becomes
permanently vacant of its incumbent due to non-continuance of schooling, resignation, death, or any other
cause, perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the adviser or by the President, and uphold the
rules and regulations promulgated by the Constitution and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 3. The Secretary shall keep journal of all the proceedings of the Malasiqui National High School Dance
Troupe, keep all the correspondence and papers of the same, furnish minutes of the meetings and other
information and notices to all concern, assist in the preparation of quarterly or annual report of the plans and
accomplishments of this organization, perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the adviser or
by the President, and uphold the rules and regulations promulgated by the Constitution and By-Laws of this
organization.

Section 4. The Treasurer shall keep financial records of this organization, disburse funds as appropriate by the
decision of the members upon due deliberations, submit financial reports at the end of each semester to the
President, collect fees, fines and other collectibles from members, perform other duties that may be assigned to
him/her by the adviser or the President, and uphold the rules and regulations promulgated by the Constitution
and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 5. The Auditor shall audit all receipt of income of the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe, the
expenditure and disbursement made thereof, render an audit report to the President whenever necessary,
perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the adviser or by the President, and uphold the rules
and regulations promulgated by the Constitution and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 5. The Public Information Officer shall disseminate all information regarding activities and meeting of the
Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe to its members, perform other duties that may be assigned to
him/her by the adviser or by the President, and uphold the rules and regulations promulgated by the
Constitution and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 6. The representative of each year shall help the PIO in disseminating all information regarding activities
and meeting of the Malasiqui National High School Dance Troupe to its members, perform other duties that may
be assigned by the adviser or by the President, and uphold the rules and regulations promulgated by the
Constitution and By-Laws of this organization.

Section 9. All of the members shall perform other duties that may be assigned to him/her by the adviser or by
the President, and uphold the rules and regulations promulgated by the Constitution and By-Laws of Malasiqui
National High School Dance Troupe.

Article II

View for the End of Membership

Section I. Any member whose membership has been end/graduated as a member of the Malasiqui National
High School Dance Troupe will be called alumnus/alumni of the said club.

Ratified this 12th Day of July 2019 at the MAPEH LRC, Malasiqui National High School, Malasiqui,
Pangasinan.
