A. Answer the following. Substantiate your answers.


1.Do you agree that the Philippine history as written, is just, enough, and complete?
For me, I agree that the Philippine history as written is just and enough for us Filipino’s to
able understand and impart us a knowledge about the past of our country. But I cannot say
that all books or in any other written source is complete or detailed about Philippine history
because there are some other book the information’s are summarized by the other author
though they examine and analyzed the gathered data.

B. Give 2-3 examples of the following terms. You may add short explanation or description for
each example if needed.
1. Primary sources -Diaries, letters and speeches by what the people said or wrote
2. Secondary sources -Scholarly or other articles about a topic, especially by people not
directly involved. And also works of criticism and interpretation.
3. Oral evidence-Interviews and Testimonies
4. Material evidence- Artistic creations such as roads, graves and churches
5. Diplomatic sources- Record groups and Presidential libraries
6. Social documents- Congressional Record (Proceedings and Debate of the Congress)
-Organizational Rules and “Bureaucratic Personality”
