Activity Task #2
History, unlike other sciences, does not provide exact details of a fact; it simply
deals with historical human activity that have been documented in various
mediums; the manner in which these activities have been communicated can never
be perfect. Despite widespread doubts about the value of learning history, nations
continue to rely on its lessons because they have no other method of connecting to
the present. History acts as a memory and diary of a country's distant past, as well
as a mirror for examining the present and a compass for guiding the future. Social
scientists study all aspects of society, including previous events, human behavior,
and human interactions. By analyzing human interactions, social scientists can
deduce what happened in the past. They can tell how humans have developed to
form new societies by observing how they interacted. As a result, history was used
to analyze and forecast a specific circumstance or behavior because it plays such an
important part in social science. Social scientists do study and develop new methods
for analyzing social events. Every challenge requires them to make decisions and
offer solutions. Furthermore, if social scientists do not solve and anticipate the
present and future, they will be unable to do so.
