1. Cuenca is the capital of the Azuay province, the largest city in Ecuador.
2. Cuenca is the most charming city with its cobblestone streets, old-world
cathedrals, colonial Parks and urban rivers.
3. Cuenca’s history begins long before the arrival of both the spanish and the
Inca.
4. Culture and history are represented in the city´s various museums, they
choose from a variety of churches and colonial plazas.
5. At night, the bars and restaurants dominate with excellent traditional and
international food and affordable prices.
7. Cuenca has a temparate climate throughout the year. The days are
normally warm and the nights are cold.

11. Most of the hotels in Cuenca were adapted colonial houses and mansions.
13. The city is famous for its cultural tradition, which has produced more
notable writers, poets, artista, and philosophers tan any other city in
Ecuador-

located.
