INTRODUCTION

With the present work it pretente to better publicize the tourist places natural (the
Colca Canyon) ,archaeological ( caral) since the in Peru is the third largest industry in
the nation, behind the fishing and mining. It is primarily directed toward the
archaeological monuments, because it has more than one hundred thousand sites of
interest, as well as the tourist attractions of nature that exist in great diversity in peru

3. ARCHAEOLOGICAL TOURIST PLACE

3.1. CARAL
Caral is a place of history and that is that thousands of years ago was the capital of the
civilization of the same name. Because of this, he is considered one of the oldest cities
of the Americas.

HOW TO COME
 The first route is to come up to the kilometer 159 of the Pan-American North
one, at a height of the center filled with Mallet, in the Végueta district. It is
possible to go the whole year.
 The second route is to come up to the km 184 of the Pan-American North one
and to take the route to the east. Big part of 22 kilometers of this detour is
asphalting and open for the right margin of the river I knew. It takes
approximately 40 minutes to come up to the citadel.

4. FAMOUS CHARACTER

4.1. MARIA REICHE-THE LADY OF NASCA


Maria Reiche was a mathematics and archaeologist german dedicated to the study and
conservation of the Nazca lines, old geoglyphs located in the desert of Nazca, in Peru.

More important contributions


The scientific came to the conclusion that the famous geoglyphs were figures
representing an ancient astronomical calendar that ancient civilizations nazcas used to
record the climate changes and cycles.

When he was 95 years of age, on 8 June 1998, Maria Reiche died in Lima victim of a
cancer. A month before Unesco had awarded the Medal Machu Picchu. Posthumously,
the Peruvian government awarded him the Order of Merit for distinguished service in
the degree of Grand Cross. The funeral was held on 10 June at the National Museum in
Lima and Maria Reiche was buried in Nazca, where he lived for more than 25 years in a
shack without water and electricity and where today there is a museum
