NARRATIVE REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF

As per DepEd Memorandum No. 53, s 2020 (Joint Implementing Guidelines on the 2020

Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela Relative to the Covid -19 Situation), Department of

Education with its theme “Pagpapanatili ng Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na Edukasyon para sa

Kabataan, with the slogan “Bayanihan sa Paaralan” declares the conduct of Joint Brigada

Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela from June 1 – August 29, 2020.

In connection to this, Malapit West Elementary School, Malapit, San Isidro, Nueva Ecija

conducted its Virtual Brigada Kick-Off Program last June 3, 2020 wherein Barangay Officials

and community where enjoined to watch the said virtual program. In the said virtual program,

Mrs. Alona Sta. Ines (School Principal II) reiterates the activities geared on making the school

virus free, ecologically conscious, resilient, clean, safe and conducive to learning by encouraging

partners such as LGU’s, NGO’s and volunteers to help clean and disinfect the school buildings,

classrooms and other school facilities. However, the School SOCMOB Coordinator, Jennifer I.

Macabante, confirms the engagement of partners to ensure the availability of the Hand

Sanitizers, Alcohol, Facemasks and other cleaning materials to safeguard the health of the

community. And as we battle the COVID-19 pandemic, it was heartwarming to see that we are

all united to give the best education despite this situation.
