Lesson Plan Science

The lesson plan introduces animal habitats. Students will identify where different animals live, show concern for animal habitats, and draw animals in their correct habitats. The lesson begins with an energizer and review of past material. Students will then explore pictures of water, land, forest, desert, and aerial animal habitats. They will identify animals found in each habitat and learn the terms "aquatic," "land," "forest/wild," "desert," and "aerial" animals. The lesson concludes with students summarizing that animals live in different places like water, land, forest, desert, and air.
