Very good class, all of you are present. Since all of you are here. Let’s start our day.
Review
Class, yesterday we learned about the sound of animals. Let’s see if you can still remember.
I have here pictures of animals; all you have to do is make the sound of the animal as I flash the picture.

B. Motivation
So, now class lets go on to our new lesson but before that we will have a game. It is called pick a
picture.
I have here pictures of animals, all you have to do is pick a picture from me, say the name of the animal
and post it under the name of place where you usually see it. We have here a pond, farm and forest.

I can see animals in the pond, like dragonfly, frog, butterfly, duck, snail and turtle.
In the farm, there are animals like cow, goat horse and chicken.
Now class, look at the pictures; what do you call ponds, farms and forest?
That’s right class, ponds, farms and forest are where the animals live and it is called habitat.
I have here a slide presentation with different animals; all you have to do is identify their habitats.
I will need three volunteer to stand here and hold the name of the habitats. Each member of the group
will race to the correct habitat and clap 3 times if the animal is found in the pond. If the animal is found
in the farm, stump your feet 3 times and if the animal is found in the forest the group 3 will shout
hooray.
Very good class, you now know how to classify animals according to their habitats.

3.) I can see frogs, fishes, dragonflies and some turtles at the pond. In the farm, I see all horses,
cows/carabaos, goats and grasshoppers.
