STAGE 1: Starting Point (10%)

Activity1
Answer the following questions.
1. Which places in your country would you recommend to a foreigner?
2. Why are they attractive?
3. Is it easy to get to those places?
4. Is there a bus station in your city?
5. Is there a train station in your city?
6. Is there an airport in your city?
7. When you go on vacation, what kind of places do you like to go?
8. What kind of traveler are you? Adventurous, backpacker, planner, cultural or free spirit.
9. Are you planning your next vacation with your family? Where are you going? If not, where would you like
to go?
10. What do you need to pack to go there?
11. If you were going to Paris, what do you need to pack in your suitcase? Make a two-pages-Picture
dictionary with those things and label them (E.g. passport, map, tooth brush, etc.).

STAGE 2: Research (40%)

Activity 1
Read the questions and answer:
1. Have you ever heard of the structure "going to"? Give some examples.
2. Do you know when we can use "going to"?
3. Do you know how to use "going to"?
4. What time expressions can we use with "going to"?
5. Read worksheet 1, page 1 to support your investigation. Practice on page 2 and 3.

1. In your experience, what recommendations would you give to someone who goes to your city or any
other place in your country? Write her/him 6 recommendations include some of the tips in the text "A
travel itinerary" on worksheet 2 to get some ideas.
