2 A white shirt has a yellow stain of curry. When soap is rubbed 1
on this shirt during washing, the yellow stain turns reddish
brown. On rinsing the shirt with plenty of water, the reddish-
brown stain turns yellow again. Explain the observations which
take place during washing and rinsing the shirt.
3 In mammals and birds why is it necessary to separate 1
oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood?
4 15 ml of water and 10 ml of sulphuric acid are to be mixed in a 1
beaker.

correction. Study the circuit diagram, list the errors in diagram
and redraw it after making all corrections.
