Structural behaviour
The structural system consists of two cantilever beams with changing section
thickness along their longitudinal axis due to the varying bending moment
distribution. Sufficient rotational stiffness is achieved by a simple pull and push
system of forces at the supports. A simply supported glass panel will provide a
continuous path across the footbridge by spanning the gap between the beams.
