SUBJECT Techtutor7 — Empowering Education using Blended and Flipped Learning

Seminar

The Information Center of the IT Industry ("Infochat") will have its annual seminar entitled
"Techtutor7 — Empowering Education using Blended and Flipped Learning" op ,September 29-30, 2015
at the SM Megaltrade Hall 2, Mandaluyong City.

• Techtutor 7 will discuss the basics of how to create, engage and manage a blended or flipped
classroom model. Blended learning combines the strength of technology-enhanced learning with traditional
face-to-face instructional methods. Flipped classroom refers to a teaching strategy in which students
engage with activities and resources prior to class in preparation for interactive learning in the classroom.

Conference fees, travelling expenses, per diem, board and lodging and other expenses relative to
this activity shall be charged against the respective offices'/institutions' budget subject to usual government
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

your respective areas.

On its 7th year, Techtutor 7 will discuss the basics of how to create, engage
and manage a blended or flipped classroom model. Blended learning
combines the strength of technology-enhanced learning with traditional face-
to-face instructional methods. Flipped classroom refers to a teaching strategy
in which students engage with activities and resources prior to class, to
prepare for interactive learning in the classroom.

On Sept 29 to 30, 2015 at the SM Megatrade Hall 2, Infochat will have its
annual seminar entitled "Techtutor7 — Empowering Education using
llet ded and Flipped Learning". The seminar will also address the
challenges faced both by the learners and facilitators in integrating
technology into education and the transition from the traditional to a new
mode of teaching methodology.
