SUBJECT: Procedure of Replacing Drum PCB (For Program Ver.1.xx)
Before you replace, please check following test mode values beforehand, if program ver. is 1. x x.
(For example: V1.37/ V1.40)
Following test mode values are memorized in Drum PCB memory.

1. Check and note the test mode values above.

2. Turn the power OFF and replace the Drum PCB to new one.
3. Turn the power ON in test mode with the Drum in the machine.
4. "D04-534: Incorrect ink cartridge is used" will appear. Then press "Reset" key to ignore the error
code.
5. Do test mode #9874 and then do #1210.
Input the correct drum size.

6. Do test mode #117: Clearing Test Mode memory [Print Drum].
7. Do test mode #890: Print drum ink-code copy
8. Do test mode #1211 to input first 4 digits of Drum serial number, which is stamped on Drum rear
frame. And then do test mode #1212 to input last 4 digits of Drum serial number.
9. Input relevant test mode, which you have noted above.
10. Once turn the power OFF, and turn the power ON with test mode again.
11. Do test mode #887: Drum Inking Action.
12. Come out the test mode to finish this procedure.
