LTHE Stage 2.

4 Consolidation Task (Spring 2020)


This consolidation task will help those of you thinking about completing the LTHE assessment, as it will enable you to begin thinking about
how continuing professional development (CPD) activities (e.g. LTHE) inform and influence your education practice.
By completing the below action plan, you will be demonstrating how you have engaged with the LTHE programme (UK PSF A5) and how it
has informed your practice (UK PSF V3). Each session has been mapped to the UKPSF to help you think about the relationship between
the activities that you do and the dimension of practice evidenced – you will need to demonstrate your ability to map accurately to the
UKPSF in Section 2 of the AFHEA Portfolio.
The action plan also serves as a ‘bitesize’ version of the broader, and more creative, career roadmap element of the Level 7 portfolio. Both
these activities are relevant to professional development more broadly; identifying gaps in knowledge, skills, and/or competencies is
something that you will typically be asked to do as part of your employment and career development.
In order to receive your LTHE Stage 2 Certificate of completion, you will need to complete the below Action Plan such that the following
criteria are met:
1. The Action Plan evidences meaningful engagement with the content covered in each of the sessions; this is based on your
responses to the column headed: “What have I learned from this session’s activities?”
2. The Action Plan clearly identifies professional development/learning needs in relation to education practice; this is based on your
