On the first video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9Jk74XO98M) is talking about

how to take control of noisy students in the classroom. On that video, the speaker explains
four-stepped process to get them sat down and ready to study with minimal fuss, fighting and
minimal disruption. The four steps to control students in the classroom are:
a. Clear Instruction. The teacher should gives unambiguous and clear instructions, so the
students have no misunderstanding and the students do not give the teacher an excuse to
do something different than the teacher want the students to do. For example, if the
teacher wants the students to be lined up quietly ready to go in the classroom, it may not
be the best instructions. It is because some students are going to carry on talking. If the
teacher wants to be quietly, the teacher should to say silent without talking. So the clear
instruction here may be something like line up without talking arms by the students’ side,
facing a way with the students’ shoulder etc.
b. Let’s first group in room. Some of students are going to respond the teacher first time
without talking, so move them in front of the line. They have followed the teacher’s
instructions, so they are letting to sit down in the classroom. But before the teacher
letting the students enter into the classroom, the teacher should prepare the seating room,
equipment and the activity that should the students do in the classroom.
c. Repeat clear instruction. The teacher should repeat the clear instruction several time,
because the first time the teacher gives instruction some of students may not have heard
the teacher’s instruction properly.
d. Give intention and additional support. The teacher may find trouble in the classroom
because of some students who wants to going individuals. Some students may bring their
problems, issues and their concerns to the classroom, if the teacher do not checked and
dealt with it, the students often materialize as disruption and misbehavior. So by give
intention and additional support, the teacher will have a chance to solve that problem
before the students entering the class.

Meanwhile, on the second video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc5-7Y2ApyM) the

speaker is talking about how to manage a class. There are four tips there such as following:
a. Teacher’s behavior
The teacher such as:
 Be smiling. The teacher should be smiling because the students will feel very
interested, so the students will be willing pay attention when the teacher gives them
material in the classroom.
 Be nice and strict when needed. When the teacher smiling, the students will be start
to get crazy. So the teacher should control and have to be a little bit strict.
 Be active. The teacher should be active in the classroom to keep the students
attention on you.
 Be patient. Being a teacher is not easy, especially for the first day to start the class.
And even for one month is will be a little bit hard till the students start to be
accommodates your teaching. So as a teacher, you should be patient when doing
teaching in the classroom.
 Be observer. The teacher should be observer in the class to know the students who
are naughty, shy, outgoing, and etc.
 Being an angry face. The teacher can do this when the students is very naughty and
not listening to you.
b. Rules or Order Setup. Formal school rules such as being on time, respect the teachers
and classmates etc. but as a teacher, you can add some orders like stand up/sit down,
raise your hand and lineup.
c. Classroom Control. The teacher can control the class by doing some games when you
have a very naughty student. And don’t forget to give the students gift or prizes.
d. Communicate. The teacher can do communication with the students to solve the problem
that the teacher gets in the classroom (such naughty student).

From the explanation from those videos above, I can conclude that: in managing a class
the teacher’s instruction should be clear to avoid misunderstanding
