A beautiful weather to start a new day. The white two-story building
of JULLIAN School of Arts will be shown with its artistic façade
that shows the beauty of the school. The landscape outside the
building that makes everyone calm and relax with a fresh air. Near
the front door a security guard GERLOU (29) a tall-skinny man was
standing. SHANTAL TORRES (24) an art teacher will enter the
building.

GERLOU
Good morning Ms. Torres!

SHANTAL

(Writing her name in the Logbook)

lately. Shantal understand it. One time, Shantal bring food to her

her) Is this your project? Tell me, Jomarie! Is she your new
project?

JOMARIE

and he found out that his data was lost and it was different from
his original plan. Jomarie lost the project. Mrs. Janela Ruiz
scolded him regarding the situation in Biliran. He was suspended and
under investigation. That day he also forgot that it was their 5 th

(Shantal prepared for their anniversary. She cooks a lot. And

prepared a candle light dinner. It’s almost 2:00 o’clock in the
morning when Jomarie got home)

JOMARIE

SHANTAL
Are you drunk?

JOMARIE
Yeah, I drink a little bit!

SHANTAL
A little bit? I cook a lot so that we can celebrate our 5th
anniversary and what did you do? You came home late and drunk.
Jomarie, what happen? just tell me if you’re not interested in our
relationship. Tell me! (got wild then turn the table upside down)

(Jomarie will just left her crying.)

(Shantal doesn’t know where did Jomarie go. After two weeks, Jomarie
finally showed up. But because of her pride she’s avoiding him and
ignoring him. That’s their routine for 3 days. If Shantal is in
their room, Jomarie will stay to the other room. They act like a
stranger. One day, Shantal receives a message from her friend Lily,
inviting her at her Beach house. Without any hesitation she went
there. For the first time in her married life, it was the first time
she hangs up with her friends)

EXT. LILY’S BEACH HOUSE 20

LILY
Talie, I miss you so much! How are you?

home for two weeks.

Two weeks? Seriously, for that long? Do you know where did he go?
Did you try to look for him?

I don’t know what to do? I don’t want to tell this to my mom.

ROSELA
Girl, I know a private investigator, why don’t you investigate your
husband. Maybe he was hiding something from you.

LILY
I agree, Talie. Boys nowadays are cannot be trusted. There’s a lot
of temptation outside.

ROSELA

(Shantal wakes up and she found nothing. She thought that it was all
a dream. She eats her breakfast then she meets the private
investigator that Rosela hired.)

Good morning, I am Shantal De Guzman. Are you Pepito Manansala?

PEPITO
Yes, ma’am. At your service.

SHANTAL
I want you to investigate this person. (give the picture of her
husband) Call me if you find something.

PEPITO

Okay ma’am. Ma’am did your husband told you that he was fired and

What’s this hon? (Asking Shantal but didn’t hear him so, he just
open the envelop that Pepito give her) Hon? What’s the meaning of

(The following morning Shantal receives a call from unregistered

(they walk towards the crowd and there Shantal see her husband,
cover with blood. Jomarie commits suicide.)

sorry! I’m sorry if I didn’t trust you. I’m sorry Jomarie! I love
you so much! Please talk to me… Jomarie! Don’t die!

SHANTAL

A CAR STOPS in front of the gate in the cemetery. Shantal and baby
Jomar will get out from the car bringing flowers. They visit
Jomarie’s tomb.
After Jomarie’s death Shantal goes back at Jullian School of Arts to
divert her attention. She always visits his husband tomb weekly
together with their precious gift, baby Jomar. From then on, Shantal
is more patience and not too suspicious to everyone.
