SOLAR OPERATED JUICE VENDING MACHINE WITH COIN

PAY SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

Here by we propose a solar powered juice dispensing system which includes a coin
operated valve control system. The first station includes housing and dispensing valve
extending there from for dispensing juice product into a cup. The dispensing valve
includes an inlet for receiving water and juice concentrate, mixes the water and the
concentrate to form the product and then dispenses the juice products.
At first coin is sensed by the coin sensing mechanism and then the microcontroller
sends signal to the relays to provide water to the inlet at the dispensing valve, while
the rolling pump provides juice concentrate to the inlet supply at the dispensing valve.
The juice concentrate is stored in a juice concentrate reservoir at a second station, the
second station being at a remote distance from the first station.
A peristaltic pump is disposed within the second conduit for creating a suction which
draws the juice concentrate from the juice concentrate reservoir and further meters the
juice concentrate to the dispensing valve. The peristaltic pump is located within the
housing of the juice dispenser at the first station.
The power for operation of the entire system is get from solar and stored in a battery.
The charging circuit controls the charging of the battery from the solar power. The
microcontroller controls the operation of the entire mechanism from sensing of the
coin to the process of juice vending.
