CONTENT STANDARDS The learner classifies various art forms found in the Philippine regions by understanding the elements and principles
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS The learner presents a form of integrated contemporary art based on the region of his / her choice.
LEARNING COMPETENCIES The Learner:
1. Defines contemporary arts in the Philippines (CAR11/12CAP-0b-3)
2. Identifies various contemporary art forms and their practices from the various regions (CAR11/12IAC-0a-1)
3. Classifies various art forms found in the Philippines (CAR11/12IAC-0b-2)
SPECIFIC LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the lesson, the learner will be able to:
1. Identify the works of National Artist and recognize their contributions to Philippine art and culture;
2. Analyze the works of National Artists in relation to the public sphere;
3. Choose an artwork from one of the Artist’s masterpieces in the field of Dance, Music or Theatrical Arts and tell the
story behind it.

 Students will play a music or show a video of a Dance or a Theatrical
Play of the artists of their choice. For example :Multimedia Performances

 The students will choose an artist in the field of Music, Dance or
Theatrical Arts then choose one of their works, show a video or play
the music of their chosen artist and explain to the class why they
chose that specific work and what is the story behind it.
