A SINGLE STOREY BUILDING

INTRODUCTION
Any construction project starts with the Layout of the building or structure followed by Design
and Analysis of the structure which is succeeded by cost estimation and planning. This project
involves the layout, design, analysis, planning of a single storey residential building located in
Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.

AIM
The aim of the project is to plan and design the framed structure of a single storey building.

SCOPE
To study how analysis and design is to be carried out in practical.
This typical case selected in the project would be useful while considering cases for residential
buildings.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the project are:
1. Draft the Layout of the proposed building using AutoCAD.
2. Analyse and Design of the superstructure of the building.
3. Load calculations and analysis.
