Italian people love good food and they make delicious dishes. Many Italian people eat three meals a
day- breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In the morning, people in Italy usually have a light breakfast. They often have a cup of coffee
with milk. Sometimes they have a slice of toast or a few biscuits before they go to work. Lunch is the
main meal of the day in Italy. Italians usually have lunch at around one o’ clock in the afternoon. Lunch
often starts with a bowl of soup or pasta. The main course is usually fish, rice and vegetables or meat
with vegetables. After that, Italians often have some cheese, fruit and a cup of coffee. At around eight o’
clock in the evening, Italian people often have a light dinner. This is usually a small bowl of soup and
some fruit.

I think Italian food is wonderful. It is light and full of fresh vegetables. It’s healthy and very
tasty, too!
