Date Activity ( A semi-detailed activity related to NSTP) Time
June 20, 2020 This day is the first formal set up and meet up for our NSTP 2 1:30 – 3:00pm class. Although classes started last June 15, some issues were resolved first before proceeding to actual class discussion. On this day, our professor posted the MOPG and Course guide. With this, I am able to familiarize myself with how NSTP 2 works. June 22, 2020 This day, our professor posted the first activity for this 1:30 – 3:00pm subject. The activity let me recall NSTP 1 so I enjoyed answering it. Also, I read MOPG and Course guide again for better understanding. I don’t want to rush and procrastinate so I did the first activity and submitted it after answering it. June 23, 2020 On this day, I re-read the given MOPG and Course guide. 1:30 – 3:00pm June 24, 2020 This day, our professor posted the second activity for this 1:30 – 3:00pm subject which is entitled, understanding the nature of NSTP- CWTS 2. In here, questions were asked about facing challenges. I had fun answering it because it was challenging for me to answer questions related to facing challenges. It made me ponder and contemplate on my decisions for my project planning. June 25, 2020 Since there are no new materials or assignment posted on 1:30 – 3:00pm our Google classroom, what I did this day in relation to NSTP, is practicing a skill related to my BS Nursing specialization which is taking blood pressure of my family members. Prior to that, they asked me to get their BP because they haven’t been updated to it for a while. In this, I practiced involvement and competency skills. June 26, 2020 On this day, I scanned the given Course guide because I 1:30 – 3:00pm thought that I missed some things regarding NSTP 2 course guidelines. June 27, 2020 This day, our professor posted the third activity, which is 1:30 – 3:00pm Module 1 Evaluation. To avoid procrastination, I answered it immediately. The activity is mainly essay type but is limited to 200 words. For the first number, I had a hard time limiting my words to 200 only. So I had to revise my essay but ensured that it answered the question concisely. For the second number, it gave me an opportunity to reflect on my actions as a student nurse. June 29, 2020 This day, our professor posted the fourth activity (Module 1 1:30 – 3:00pm Elaborate) with a new material related to it. They asked us what home project we are opting to. With no hesitation, I picked gardening. This is because my family owns a farm and they can help me with that home project. After making decisions, I answered the given activity. June 30, 2020 This day, I didn’t do much in this subject. Although I pondered 1:30 – 3:00pm in which plant I’m going to grow for my home project. July 01, 2020 This day, our professor posted the fifth activity, which is 1:30 – 3:00pm Module 2 – Community Engagement. It contains 3 activities in one file. After scanning it, I told myself, “I’m going to enjoy doing these activities”. It’s because I’m going to do editing again and I love doing that especially if I really got the ideas to express a certain thing. Before doing the activity, I read the given material first. Afterwards, I list some words for word cloud and started making it. It’s my first time using and creating word cloud but I did enjoy it. I used digital illustration on Canva for the next activity. I had a hard time in matching the colors so I asked my friends for their opinion. July 02, 2020 For this day, I continued doing the Module 2 – Community 1:30 – 3:00pm Engagement’s last activity which is the JEEPGY. I enjoyed doing this also because it made me aware of the problems we encounter now in our society. It’s also interesting to think of solutions involving one’s community. After that, I submitted my work before the due date. July 03, 2020 On this day, although there are no new posted materials or 1:30 – 3:00pm assignments, the NSTP related activity that I did was cleaning surroundings. Also, I visited our NSTP 2 Google classroom to check if I have missed activities. July 04, 2020 On this day, I looked for suitable pots and soil to be used for 1:30 – 3:00pm my home gardening project. July 06, 2020 On this day, I looked for members for the implementation of 1:30 – 3:00pm our home project proposal – Gardening. I and my other friends waited for pending invitations to other groups. July 07, 2020 On this day, our group is still incomplete and we keep on 1:30 – 3:00pm asking if there are any vacants from other groups. Thus, our group is still not settled. Also, I scanned what our professor posted in our Google classroom which is Program Learning Outcomes for Nursing and SLP with NIche. July 08, 2020 This day, our group has 4 members because there are no 1:30 – 3:00pm vacancies to other groups, so we settled for it. In the end, it’s the participation and cooperation that would stand out. July 10, 2020 This day, we checked and scanned the given Service Learning 1:30 – 3:00pm Program (SLP) and some samples of it. July 11, 2020 This day, we checked and scanned the given Service Learning 1:30 – 3:00pm Program (SLP) and some samples of it. July 13, 2020 This day, our group helped each other out to do the draft of 1:30 – 3:00pm Service Learning Program (SLP) for our home project (Gardening). We assigned tasks for each member and asked for each other’s opinions at the end. I was able to submit our SLP draft before due date. July 14, 2020 On this day, I planned on what I am going to plant and do 1:30 – 3:00pm gardening. I asked my parents about seeds but unfortunately, there were no seeds available as they were planted already. I asked my friend about her gardening and luckily, she gave me an advice that I should just use seedling or punla and transfer it to pot. Also since I started to do my gardening late, I agreed with using seedlings. I asked my mother if we have seedlings and she said yes, and agreed to help me with my gardening. July 15, 2020 On this day, our professor posted a new material which is 1:30 – 3:00pm First Aid Forum that contains video of demonstration. After that, I answered the given activity which is the Evaluation for the shared online forum. Since they asked for our opinion, I stated there that a lengthy video may not interest and entertain a student and for others who have poor connection, they will have troubles accessing and watching the video completely without buffering. I suggested to cut the video per lesson and demonstration, and to make it short and direct to the point. July 16, 2020 On this day, my mother helped me to do my gardening. This 1:30 – 3:00pm is the first time I’m going to plant again since high school, so I still need supervision and guide. I enjoyed gardening and watering my Sili (Chilli Pepper) plants. I then asked my brother to take some pictures for documentation. July 17, 2020 On this day after I wake up, I checked on my plants and 1:30 – 3:00pm watered them gently. It’s fun doing this every day and I can’t wait to see them grow. July 18, 2020 After I wake up, I check on my planted Chilli Peppers. Then, I 1:30 – 3:00pm did the self-assessment activity regarding SLP. July 20, 2020 At dawn, I created a script to be used later for my CPR return 1:30 – 3:00pm demonstration. Since I’m a student nurse and we covered lessons regarding CPR last semester, I didn’t encounter any difficulty arranging the procedures. After waking up and having breakfast, I organized the things I’m going to use for return demonstration of CPR. Then, I took a video of myself doing the demonstration. Afterwards, I edited the video and submitted it. July 21, 2020 On this day after I wake up, I checked on my planted Chilli 1:30 – 3:00pm Pepper and I was amazed because on my first pot, a new Chilli pepper germinated. I had fun taking pictures for documentation. I realized that it was refreshing to take care of plants and witnessing them to grow. July 22, 2020 On this day after I wake up, I checked on my planted Chilli 1:30 – 3:00pm Pepper and watered it. I only water my plants every 3 days because my mom told me so. Also, I started compiling my pictures for documentation of SLP.
