1. Installation of Solar Panel

Installation of Solar Panel for some percentage of total load is mandatory for

above 02 kw electric connection. It is shown below.

1. Domestic 3% of total load.

2. Industrial & i) If the total load is up to 50 kw, than 07% of

Commercial light & fan load is mandatory.
ii) If the total load is more 50 kw, than 10%
of light & fan load is mandatory

Dhaka PBS-1 is going to modernize itself through digitization of billing, connection

application and meter reading system. Installation of Solar panel is still very much

limited as less than 1% of total consumers use it for domestic or commercial purpose. So

it is very much expected that solar power system will be provided to consumers in a more

convenient way. During this short time visit we got an overview of organizational and

operational structure as well as consumer dealing strategy of Dhaka PBS-1 which will

help us greatly in building our career.
