Group 1: Kayla, Cate, Lelia, Ella, Mahalia

Great music to start off and set the mood, worked hard to create your script as your group and
everyone spoke clearly. There were a range of sounds that helped to build the atmosphere. The
story was easy to follow. You used your voice and sound effects to create the dramatic tension of the
radio play. Used elements of storytelling to help entertain your audience.

Cate – good use of voice as the narrator, remember volume and pace

Kayla – good use of voice to create character, slow down at times

Leila – Good used of your voice to create the different characters. Remember to keep the volume

Mahalia – used your voice to create character, add some more moments that use emphasis to
highlight words

Ella – used your volume of voice to make your character clear and easy to hear

Group 2: Sophie, Chloe, Macy, Beth

Your group had a great script that that was easy to follow and you had a good use of voice and
sound to tell your story. The sounds helped to create the performance and build the mood and
atmosphere. Good to see a range of live sounds as well as recorded sound effects. The whole group
worked well together and put in a lot of effort. The plot was engaging. Descriptions helped with the
suspense.

Beth – Good work being the narrator and using your voice to tell the story. Remember the pace of
the narrator to help build the tension

Chloe – Clear use of voice to create your character, keep working hard remember to slow down to
help build ten

Sophie – Used your voice to communicate your character. You spoke clear and used

Macy – Your voice was clear and easy to understand. Remember at times to slow down a bit.

Sav – Good work helping out the group

Group 3: Luke, Declan C, Declan J, Bradley, Odin

It was good to see the group working well together to create the radio play story. You were able to
use a range of sounds and music to help tell the story. There was a really good use of voice to create
the story and it used lots of descriptions and humour. Worked well in your group to develop and
rehearse the story.

Luke – were able to play the sound effects for the group, it would have been good to hear more of
you vocal work as well.

Odin – Good work as the narrator, clear voice, played the role with confidence.

Declan C – used pitch to help create your character, had fun with the role you played.
Declan J – used your voice to help create the character, try to work on the different tones for each
character

Bradley – really good use of voice to become the character. Used pace and pitch to build the
atmosphere and develop the gruff voice.

Group 4: Zac, Casey, Jake

Worked well in your group. The story was really descriptive and easy to follow. The sounds and
music helped to create the atmosphere and enhance the story. The plot was interesting and
engaging. Were able to use pace in the story to help build the dramatic tension of your radio play.
Remember to use your rehearsal time wisely to make sure everyone is aware of what needs to
happen what time.

Zac – Well done. Used your voice to show different characters, just be careful with some of the
mumbling/low talking characters as they can be hard to hear at times.

Casey – used a clear and confidence voice to help express your character. IT would have been good
to hear more characters from your.

Jake – Good work as the narrator. Read well. Remember the pace and not to talk too fast.

Group 5: Sav, Jesse, Tem, Darian, Cal

Really descriptive story that was well written and had lots of mood in it. The sounds supported your
work and helped create the atmosphere. It was an interesting idea to walk around the room while
performing, this worked well and was something different from the other groups.

Sav – Good work Sav. You were able to use your voice well to create the character, Your scream
really added to the atmosphere of the performance.

Darian – It would have been good to see you working with the sounds

Cal – good use of your voice being the narrator, you helped create the mood of the performance –
just reemeber not to speak too fast

Jesse- Read your lines well, try to work on staying focused when your group is planning and
developing their performance
