    5 Operating principles
    To operate the winch you need an external hydraulic power unit. This HPU is connected at the winch
    with four hydraulic hoses: pressure, return, drain and load sensing.
    By moving the handle on the operational valve, the winch will go in lowering of hauling mode.
    When operating the winch with the operating valve, the clutch has to be engaged, the band brake
    has to be released and turn on when you stop operating the winch.
    Free- fall
    If you disengaged the clutch and a controlled released the band brake, than the anchor will fall in a
    controlled free-fall.
    2.6 Specifications

    Pulling force 7tons on the first layer

    Holding force 11,5tons on the first layer

    Wire capacity 250m of 22mm steel-wire

    Speed at first layer 10m/min at 7 RPM

    Mass excluded steel-wire 1,5tons

    Hydraulic system needed to get the specification of the anchor winch

    Flow 130 liters/minute


    Working pressure: 155 bar

    Hydraulic oil

    Make and type: MOBIL DTE 25 or higher
